Samael

 Music:
Samael make an interesting mix of keyboards, drums, bass and guitarrs, few songs sound alike, and they're all very well mixed. Xy is a really good musician when it comes to combining many sounds at once into an actual song. While Vorph's lyrics have gone from "I love the dead" to "Angel's Decay" to "The Cross". And with the change of lyrics comes a change of music, Samael has gone from gothic to black and are now somewhere in between, something other bands such as Moonspell( aka Morbid God, Demonarch ), Cradle of Filth to name a few also place on their merit list.

Nanowires and DNA Mutation

 Technology:
Harvard University researchers have demonstrated that it is possible to detect sequences of DNA that cause cystic fibrosis in real-time using a sensor made from nanowires. They are damn good there. Very exciting researches. It's my dream to someday work in such a place. These nanowire sensors could eventually be built into labs-on-a-chip that could be used for medical diagnostics and pathogen detection in the field, and for drug discovery. Read full story from TRN.

Virtual Footbal

 Games:
Virtual footbal? WTH is this? A better use of video conferencing I think. It is a ball game developed by Dublin researchers forces players to sweat while facing rivals who are miles away. Read more from BBC News.

Nazca Lines

History
:

The Nazca Lines were first spotted when commercial airlines began flying across the Peruvian desert in the 1920's. Passengers reported seeing 'primitive landing strips' on the ground below. Today people sometimes fly in hot air balloons to view the splendors of the Nazca Lines, their eneries awakening something within their souls.

Female Gamers!

 Games:
I never thought that there would be any professional female gamers. I knew just my sister, an addict to civilization series and some other games. We used to play mechwarrior together; I as the steerman and she as the gunman (sorry gunwoman!). But now it seems that there are even a female clan for CS, a pro one! If they were playing AA, I could challenge them, but not CS! DoMe clan is the name. And one of the players is Anja Maller, aka Vildkatten. Cool!
Read more about them in BBC News.

She Was a Good Lady

 No subject:
This morning I got a very bad news. Last night my grandmother died from CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident). She was a very kind lady and took care of her children very good. She hadn't any degree but all her kids were university graduates. When she died she was old and maybe this is not very bad at all for her, but for my mother who was crying from last night until the time I talked to her it is very difficult. God bless her. This is the third beloved one that I lost this year and I couldn't see them for the last time.
