Do You Know The Meaning Of Your Pc's Beeps." Beep codes are the beeps you hear from the PC speaker when you turn on your computer. They are your computer's way of letting you know what's going on when there is no video signal. These codes are programmed into the BIOS of the PC ."

Yesterday I got the reply to my article I already sent to MedInfo and it was rejected. I sepnt a couple of months on that paper and worked very hard. Their comments were of course very professional. It seems that I have to work hard on that again and send that to some journals which are much harder to get acceptance than conferences. I am in the middle of my second paper and it is a little bit hard to work over both of them. I was depressed yesterday, but feeling better now.

Technology/Music:
In Iran it is very common to invite someone to wedding ceremonies to play a couple of songs and make people happy with a keyboard. If you can't see the band you think that they are at least 5 people, but they are not. Just a guy behind a keyboard sometimes!
This device is the newest keyboard if you can call it. Of course it is a computer acting as a keyboard called NEKO 64. NEKO 64 is the ultimate performance and studio instrument because it is simply the most advanced, flexible and cost effective product available today. Read full story.

Music:
The band called Antimatter is the creation of the former Anathema bassist Duncan Patterson. He has also been helped out by his old bandmate Danny Cavanagh and the former Cradle Of Filth member Les Smith has contributed with his sampling. The music that Antimatter present on their debut album is laid-back melancholic pop / rock with beautiful female vocals done by Michelle Richfield. The melancholy is similar to the Anathema atmosphere but other than that Antimatter is a whole new creation. If you enjoy moody and passionate music with female vocals you should not miss out on this release. The atmosphere is very suggestive and you can almost feel the tender caress of the clouds of heaven while walking through this wonderful soundscape painted by some of the finest musicians of the British Isles. Definitely the strongest debut album of 2002 so far. The best thing about this album is that it gets even better each time you listen to it.
On 23th June came the time to turn the light out. " Lights Out" the title of the new ANTIMATTER CD is essentially darker but also more unified than the previous "Saviour". Instead Duncan Pattersons inimitable feel for melancholic melodies always shines far above all other cliches, already making Anathema one of the most unusual groups today.
