Technology:
Interesting! Having Wi-Fi in planes in order to give passengers access to a broadband connection on long-haul flights. 40 of Singapore Airlines' planes will be equipped with Wi-Fi connections to high-speed satellite service. It is good for some I-addicts like me to surf the net everywhere even in the sky (read story). Anyway, is there any way to surf the net even in sleep? Anyone knows about that? Maybe someday it would be possible.

Rage Against the (Chess) Machine
Chess:
Kasparov again against a beast. He has to play with ChessBase's Fritz and if he could win, 200,000 will be his (damn! I have to learn CHESS!). Kasparov will face the software running on a four-processor Xeon server, which will be capable of assessing about 3 million moves a second (no chance for me, I thought that it has only 3 processor not four!). Franz Beckenbauer is maybe the most famous German Footbal player in Iran. He is very popoular and maybe a dream for every player is to become someone like him. Here is some information about him in IHOF.

History:
"There were 22 people in my particular Boat. We were under fire as we neared the beach. When the ramp of the boat went down, I was the first one to step out. As I was getting off, I was shot in my side, but the bullet only went through muscleit didn't hit any jointsso I was able to keep going".

Cinema:
I was watching Stephan King's "Red Rose" in this weekend. It was the longest horror movie I've ever seen and of course one of the best ones, too. Over 4 hours of highly-detailed and well-made movie with interesting characters from a master writer - Stephan King - is well worth watching. The little girl, Annie, was playing very good and convincing. If you can find a copy, I recommend this one for your free weekend.

Music:
Taking their name from the word "amorphous" meaning 'no determinate form or shape', Finland's most creative and acclaimed metal band have certainly lived up to their name along the course of their ten year history. With a vast set of musical influences amongst their membership, Amorphis have taken large strides with each consecutive album and have reached their most ambitious plateau yet.

Technology:
I really like this ThinkGeek. It has some very cool gadgets. Of course they are not cheap and necessary, but they are good-to-have!
This is a Digital MemoryFrame. A frame which you can download your photos to it and just tell it to change them after a certain time period. Cool, isn't it? And don't look at the price!

History:
Dawn: June 10, 1944. The great complex of air bases near Foggia, Italy. Forty-six 82nd FG Lockheed P-38J Lightnings from the 95th, 96th and 97th Fighter Squadrons, each carrying a 1,000-pound bomb on the right wing shackle and a 310-gallon ferry drop tank on the left, shake the Foggia No. 11/Vincenzo airfield as they taxi for takeoff. Over the Adriatic, 48 1st Fighter Group P-38Js of the 27th, 71st and 94th FS flying escorts will join them. One after another over southern Italy, nearly 100 P-38s take wing and climb to altitude. Their target: Ploesti-the major oil refinery complex in Europe and more than 600 miles away across the Adriatic Sea and over the mountains of Yugoslavia. The mission: to dive-bomb the Romano-Americano oil refinery, which is the primary producer of high-grade aviation gasoline for the Luftwaffe. It will be recorded as the blackest day in the history of the American fighter forces in WW II. Read full story from FlightJournal.
